make waves
Dynamic 2D motion scenes that bring each moment to life.
Your design in motion.
2D animation is expressive and impossible to ignore. Transform flat graphics into stories that move with personality and style.
For this project, we brought the client’s illustration to life with fluid motion, playful exaggeration, and music-synced energy. What began as a static design became entertainment in its own right, full of attitude and emotion that connected with their audience on a whole new level.
Put your branding in motion.
This final 2D animation for Wavy Lemonheads tells a playful, character-driven story. What begins as a casual date between two cartoon characters takes an unexpected turn when a lemon character surfing the ocean steals the spotlight. The animation builds humor and emotion before ending on a memorable product reveal, blending storytelling with brand personality.
Frame to Frame
Bringing a character to life starts with the smallest details. The tilt of a head, the lift of a brow, the rhythm of each step. Built frame by frame, these moments give the animation its spark and make it feel alive.
Confident struts, bouncing steps, and sharp expressions gave each character a presence that demanded attention. Every movement was deliberate, every reaction connected back to the brand’s voice.
The final walk cycle did more than move across the screen. It carried the brand’s personality in every step, turning movement into identity.
Ready for your next drop? Let’s make it walk and talk.
This behind the scenes video shows how the Wavy Lemonheads characters were built piece by piece. Arms, legs, and body are assembled step by step before bring brought into motion. The clip also highlights the lemon character from multiple angles, showcasing how movement and perspective were planned to create smooth animation.
Scenes in 2.5D
This client wanted depth, atmosphere, and movement that felt bigger than 2D without the weight of full 3D. That’s where 2.5D came in.
By layering graphics into foreground, mid-ground, and background, we gave the scene a cinematic feel that pulled viewers in. Camera sweeps created motion, while lighting added drama, shifting from playful to intense with a single change in shadows and highlights.
The result was a world that felt alive, immersive, and real, built entirely from flat art. 2.5D turned still graphics into a stage where the brand’s story could play out with scale and dimension.
